Dem's M.E.S.E. Project

Master of Engineering in Software Engineering

SMART Front Desk

The cornerstone of the M.E.S.E. program at the University of Colorado is the Master's project.  My project is to design and implement a workflow system on the Web using Java for the SMART (Summer Minority Access to Research Training) program.  The project is called the SMART Front Desk, and the idea for the project came from Prof. Skip Ellis in the Computer Science Department.

Faculty Committee

My project is overseen by the Faculty Committee which is composed of three professors.

Documentation

Emphasis for the project is placed on proper software engineering, so documentation is a major component of the project.
